Intel® is proud to introduce a revolutionary solid-state LiDAR depth technology designed for indoor applications. The first product in the new LiDAR depth family, the Intel RealSense LiDAR Camera L515 is perfect for applications that require depth data at high resolution and high accuracy.

The Intel RealSense LiDAR Camera L515 gives precise volumetric measurements of objects. Use the L515 on a handheld device or as part of an inventory management system for quickly counting objects on a shelf, or track every pallet that leaves your warehouse to make sure it's fully loaded with the right inventory.

Easy transition with the Intel RealSense SDK 2.0
Our open‑source SDK 2.0 offers a variety of wrappers supporting popular programming languages and platforms. The newest addition to the Intel RealSense Technology family uses the same SDK as all other current generation devices, allowing an easy transition from any of our other depth cameras. Intel® RealSense™ LiDAR Camera L515 is designed to function best from 0.25 to 9 m.
Infrared light from the sun can interfere with the performance of the device which can degrade the quality of the depth images when used outdoors. As a power efficient LiDAR camera, L515 will perform best indoors or in controlled lighting conditions.
Our onboard Intel RealSense Vision ASIC performs all the depth computations, which allows us to provide depth to numerous platforms at low power. The Intel RealSense SDK 2.0 is platform independent, with support for Windows, Linux, Android and MacOS. We also offer wrappers for many common platforms, languages and engines, including Python, ROS, C/C++, C#, Unity, Unreal, OpenNI and NodeJS, with more being added constantly.
The camera requires a USB-C 3.1 connection to provide power and transfer data during operation.
